Beyond the physical and emotional distress that comes with a brain cancer diagnosis, the financial challenges can be significant. Our grant recipients receive assistance with immediate expenses. This is offered along with gifts of comfort and encouragement designed to make waiting rooms and treatment days a bit more tolerable.
These gifts come with our assurance to patients and families that they are not alone. They have a team behind them—our team.

Surgeries, treatments, and uncertainty can steal the very best parts of life. But this is a diagnosis that makes every day precious. Kendall once said,
“This isn’t a fight. This is my life.
So, I’m going to keep on living and enjoying every adventure.”
Our goal is to help patients and families do the same by providing them with the opportunity to pursue a goal or enjoy a memory making experience.
There is no greater encouragement to a brain cancer family than the hope for a cure. From lobbying congressional representatives in Washington, and Cindy's experience serving on a Congressionally Funded Peer Review Research Panel, the Kendall Nicole Eich Foundation is committed to supporting research, and improving outcomes for brain cancer patients. We are proud to be aligned with wonderful organizations throughout the world committed to raising awareness and much needed funding for brain cancer research.
Our brain cancer patients are not just connected to us. We connect them with other valuable resources in the brain cancer community.

Community here.
Breakthroughs ahead.™
National Brain Tumor Society unrelentingly invests in, mobilizes, and unites our community to discover a cure, deliver effective treatments, and advocate for patients and care partners.

We know that the most impactful investment for brain tumor patients is to fund innovative researchers. This has been a cornerstone of the ABTA mission. 50 years later, we’ve invested $37 million and funded over 700 researchers, many of whom are now leading advances in the brain tumor field.

A Chicago-based, grassroots and volunteer-led 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization bringing joy and easing the financial burden faced by adolescents and young adults battling cancer.

Dedicated to making huge strides in the research of brain cancer, and ultimately finding a cure.

Pickles Group provides free peer-to-peer support and resources for kids and teens impacted by the parent or guardian's cancer.

The Game on Glio Podcast is dedicated to spreading awareness and advocacy, to educate, and tell the stories and expertise of those
on a cancer journey.

Kendall’s greatest strength was her relentlessly positive attitude, including her ability to find and share joy on her most difficult days. We look forward to recognizing and encouraging this gift in students and young adults.
Congratulations to Addy Dersnah, recipient
of the 2024 Kendall Strong Award!

Congratulations to George Wagner, the Palatine H.S. recipient of our 2025 Love Goes Further Scholarship.
In George's own words, "A person's true character is never revealed in moments of triumph or success; instead it is revealed through how we respond to adversity...I came to understand that adversity does not weaken love, it strengthens it when practiced through sacrifice and responsibility.
George (in gray) is surrounded by members of his family who George acknowledged in his beautiful essay.
Your future is bright, George. We can't wait to see the great things you'll achieve!

Congratulations to Sumedha Rao, the William Fremd H.S. recipient of our 2025 Love Goes Further Scholarship.
Sumedha wrote a beautiful essay sharing wisdom she received from her grandfather, "What you learn should never remain only yours."
Sumedha wrote, "Ioften think about that sentence my grandfather said so casually...At the time, it sounded like advice. Now, it feels like a responsibility I carry with me into every decision I make...No matter how far I go, his love goes further."
Sumedha, you are already achieving great things! We can't wait to see what your future holds!
"No matter how far we go, our love goes further."
